Lets face it.. We all have been backstabbed at some point in our life.. I feel everyone who has hurt me has also helped mold me to become more aware and protective of myself for the future. Although it has changed the process of how fast I love, I will never allow it to change who I am and how I love. I have grown so much and now better understand the purpose of my life. The clarity in focusing is unbelievable when your lens aligns with your vision. In the process, I lost a lot of friends and people that I would have given my life for. Instead of allowing for this to beat me up and lowering my moral, I used it as fuel to better myself as a person. Instead of blaming anyone, I always blamed myself and tried to make better choices. This has helped me become a better person, someone that I truly respect. Although, I have a lot more work to do, I am blessed to live and see the change for the better. The change is so significant that people who I spent more than half of my life with wouldn’t recognize me anymore as I feel I have been reborn.
It’s never too late to make the right choices! Sometimes we just need a little push in the right direction and our lives completely change before we know it. I’m thankful for my wife who was and continues to be my push in the right direction. And to all the haters who think they know us inside out and what our capabilities are, just remember one thing.. YOU DON’T KNOW..
