Holding On
I wrote Holding On as a reflection of where I feel we are as a world, and where I find myself as an individual. There is so much happening around us. So many shifts. So many changes. So much uncertainty. At times it feels overwhelming, like everything is moving faster than we can process.
This song was born in that tension.
It speaks to the quiet battles we fight internally while the world keeps spinning externally. It is about faith in the middle of chaos. It is about trusting that God has a plan, even when we cannot see it clearly. Even when the road is on fire and feels heavy.
We are always told to keep moving forward. Keep building. Keep climbing. Keep pushing. But sometimes forward movement does not look like progress. Sometimes it is not loud or visible. Sometimes it is simply holding on.
And that is enough.
Holding on can be strength. Holding on can be courage. Holding on can be the most powerful decision you make when everything inside of you wants to let go. It gives us space to breathe. It gives us time to decompress. It allows us to sit with our pain, to understand our struggles, and to grow through what tried to break us.
This record is for anyone who feels stretched between who they are and who they are becoming. For anyone navigating change, loss, pressure, or doubt. For anyone who feels like the weight is heavy but still chooses faith over fear.
There is power in resilience. There is beauty in surviving the storm. And sometimes the bravest thing you can do is stay grounded while everything around you is shifting.
Holding On is not just a song. It is a reminder.
No matter how intense the pressure gets, no matter how messy the process becomes, you are still here and you are not allowing it to change your character. You are still standing. And sometimes, that alone is victory.
Love You All..
